Muscular & Joint Pain

Find relief for your aches & pains

A recent study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, collected data from 18,000 participants who participated in acupuncture studies.  Findings show acupuncture should be considered a valid treatment for all types of chronic pain (i.e., arthritis, chronic back pain, anxiety, the effects of chemotherapy, and in the treatment of obesity).

Acupuncture treats many symptoms related to your aches and pains caused from sitting too long, physical labor, injuries, and inflammation.

These conditions may interfere with daily routines and living a healthier life.  Therapies such as acupuncture, cupping and herbal remedies may help to decrease or eliminate the the use of commercial medications by relieving the pain.

Treatable conditions include (but not limited to):

  • Arthritis

  • Back, neck, shoulder pain

  • Bell's Palsy

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

  • General arthritic pain and muscle tension

  • Gout

  • Knee pain

  • Sciatic pain

  • Sprains and strains

  • Stiff neck

  • Tennis elbow

  • Tendonitis

Chronic conditions

Due to the long term effects from chronic pain, treatment required may be longer.  Chronic symptoms persist for more than 3 months.  6-8 sessions are recommended to achieve significant improvement. The positive effects of acupuncture take time to build up in the body and follow-ups may also be suggested for maintenance.

Acute conditions

Sudden events may trigger an acute symptom and cause severe but temporary impairment to our body.  This may take several sessions to receive significant relief.
